Research Interests
My research interests lie in the development of new materials for the application as hydrogels for water treatment and biomedical sciences. Exploring materials design from natural polymers such as polysaccharides, can a solution for more sustainable alternatives to state-of-the art materials. Furthermore, the utilization of inverse vulcanized polymers with their unique material properties can also lead to a pathway of new and environmentally friendly alternatives to commodity polymers by using industrial waste and renewable materials. Employing AI for polymer design optimization, and olymer materials for carbon dioxide capture and utilization to tackle environmental challenges are also fields I focus my research in. I aim to develop innovative solutions that address pressing issues in water purification and mining, sustainable materials development and carbon capture, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach merging polymer science, materials engineering, and artificial intelligence.
