Research Interests
My research focuses on the design, synthesis, and characterization of solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) for next-generation battery technologies. Specifically, I am working on potassium-ion batteries (PIBs) and multivalent-ion systems (e.g., Mg²⁺, Ca²⁺). I explore systematic structure–property relationships to optimize polymer architectures, including polyether-based systems, crosslinked networks, and hybrid copolymers, for improved ionic conductivity, mechanical stability, and electrochemical performance. A key emphasis lies on fluorine-free salt alternatives and anionic polymer designs to advance sustainability and safety in energy storage.
